The Gainesville Youth Chorus, Inc. is a children's international touring choir enriching our children, our community...one concert at a time!

Our mission is to create an atmosphere in which children can develop and advance their musical talent, demonstrate personal and artistic growth, and experience true joy and passion for singing through choral performance.

Do you know a child who loves to sing? Auditions will be held Thursday, August 27 from 4-6 PM in the Glen Springs Elementary Music Room.

Want to learn more about singing, choreography or get more practice with those cool moves? Come strut your stuff during Broadway & GYC. This session includes show tunes, choreography and group as well as ensemble work.
 
Offered June 15-18th   *   1:00-4:00 PM
 
Ever wanted to sing a solo, but too nervous to step out in the lime light? Want to refine your performance skills? In the Spotlight is for you! This session focuses upon solo singing in a nurturing environment, with practice in performance skills, auditioning techniques and selection of repertoire.
 
Offered July 20-23rd   *   1:00-4:00 PM

Each session is $100 and open to children 7-18 years of age, with no audition necessary! Workshop participants may audition for the Gainesville Youth Chorus at the end of each session.
